November 7, 2018 – Middleton Schools, “I feel blessed to have this school for my children”

“To educate all students to be contributing members of a global society by inspiring them with a lifelong love of learning, challenging them with rigorous and innovative curriculum, and empowering them through inclusion and collaboration.” That is the mission statement of the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District.  The district serves approximately 6,700 students and employes 592 teachers. Total minority enrollment is 22%. Eight of the nine schools rated either exceeded or significantly exceeded expectations on the 2015-16 School Report Cards that were issued in November 2017 by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for every public and private school in the state.

Middleton High School has a sports program that is considered to be one of the top athletic programs in the state of Wisconsin. And the high school is proud to offer over 60 student organizations that enhance the quality of student’s lives and expand options for learning and personal growth. These organizations provide an educational opportunity for students to learn essential life lessons beyond those that can be learned in an academic classroom.

Parents have the opportunity to write reviews on greatschools.org. One parent writes “It’s a beautiful environment to be in, both aesthetically and academically. The administration & teachers are quick to address any need or difficulty. I feel blessed to have this school for my children to learn in.”
